World building for the lopunny sisters and friends
The world of Pokémon
In the world these characters live Pokémon and other creatures have coexisted for as long as life has thrived on the planet, animals like ordinary dogs, cats, mice, birds, bugs, fish and more live along these powered beings. Many of the Pokémon who inhabit this world have reached civilization ranging from small villages to large metropolis, these are the pokémorphs, species that have left their feral lifestyles and become the upright two legged creatures that populate these settlements; their technology existing in balance with nature and their culture a rich mix of different regions and species. Other Pokémon that aren’t morphs do still exist, these species live in the wild and retain a more varied body plan, but are still recognized as sentient creatures with their own rights.
Tempest Bay City
The city where most of our characters live in, it’s a decently sized coastal city built around the small bay that was named when sailors first found it in search of refugee from a storm. It lies in a small valley created where a long mountain range meets the coast, which is divided by the Valoz Stream, a river born from the ice and snow high in the mountains. While the bay is not big enough for large scale trading it still houses an active port for local business and sport, which combined with both rocky and sandy beaches, make for an attractive location that people are drawn to. Its main connections to the rest of the country are highways that snake up and down the mountains and a single tunnel that houses a highway and rail system. Tempest bay experiences a warm climate with sunny summers and rainy winters.
The Lopunny Family
The four sisters grew up in a tightly knit family; the first three were laid as a single clutch while Vicky was a lone egg. Their parents two lopunny, Selena and Reed; the father a fighter and their mother a freelance mother were always very loving of their daughters and encouraged them to pursue their dreams. All members of the family are quite open minded and frisky, knowing each other intimately and the girls were raised as somewhat nudists, and none tend to wear much of anything within their respective homes.
Lilith’s Family
Lilith was born on a mountain village, one mainly populated by grass and ice type Pokémon who live off the two main resources in the small haven among the snow, the natural hot springs and gracidea blooms. Most families own a patch of land containing one of the two and making money off the tourists that come and go. One of such was a roserade, professor Rosales from the Tempest Bay lab specialist on botany; it was on his expedition to sample and study the mountain flora that he met the meganium that is Lilith’s mother, Violet. For a time he moved in and during his stay they married and had their daughter, but a position opening back at the lab forced him to move back to the city permanently along with his wife and daughter. Lilith’s mother opened her own business, a flower shop that has become quite a success with its quality of produce. Glory is one of Lilith’s direct cousins and lives with her family which manages one of the larger inns in the village with its own springs; while Rose in turn always dreamed of seeing more than their home town taking the chance to move in with Lilith and work at the flower shop, mainly tending to their gracideas at the greenhouse.
Ember’s Family
Ember spent most of her childhood raised by her single mother, a delphox named Lucille, whose daughter was born from a one night stand. Even thought it was not planned and she didn’t even get the guy’s name the two have a very deep mother-daughter bond. It wasn’t until she was around eighteen that Ember’s mother met a ninetails named Audrey who had been divorced for a few years and raising her son. What started as a friendship ended with the two getting married and Ember having a little brother that looks up to her, and while she considers herself a rather good person she still tries to keep him away from the gang girls whenever they’re around.
Team Tempest
An idea concocted by Mr. Rowan while watching people training at his gym and seeing the potential in quite a few, he gave an open invitation for people to prove themselves for the six main positions. That is how the current team formed, deemed the strongest fighters on that day they all have worked together since to better themselves. Its two newest members, Max and Felix; as still trainees filling as reserves until they’re ready to become full members in the main team’s rotation.
Tempest Gym
Mr. Rowan and Reese’s business, the Tempest Gym is one of the larger ones in town, offering many different services ranging from simple access to equipment to full on classes and personal trainers. Here is where Eva and Vicky spend a good amount of their time, one member of Team Tempest and the other a full time employee with a couple groups under her care as their yoga teacher.
Lovebunny Inc.
The lovechild of Cotton and Kristy, but still mostly Kristy’s idea, is a website that provides entertainment of the adult variety. People pay monthly subscriptions to access their archives as well as any new releases and the scheduled live shows that are scattered across each month. Currently having a couple dozen contributors, all personally selected by the two sisters, they have a wide selection between fully edited movies, live events and weekly cam shows. While a few of these performers do live within the city and meet up at the sister’s studio/home most of them live across the world working on their own and uploading to the site from their homes.
The Silver Fangs gang
While having a corny name and bad reputation this group means a lot more to its members. A fated meeting among five girls brought them together in their high school days:
Vivian and Issy were surrounded by a group of thugs when leaving the school late afternoon, the two staying late due to Issy working on a design with Vivi as her model; they were outnumbered and not doing so well on the fight. When three other girls arrived to help, Aster and Terri fresh out of detention and Ember leaving the library; together they were able to fend off the guys and all five have stayed together since.
It wasn’t long after they started hanging together that rumors began to spread, and the girls decided to take advantage of it. They became a gang, always there for each other, their reputation enough to fend off any of the instigators that bullied the girls individually. Although this did lead to one unexpected meeting: a lonely rich girl who wanted to be one of the “bad girls” approached them, Jennifer; listening to her plights the five then became six. With five friends now backing her Jenny stepped up to help each with the resources she had at hand. The six even coming to the decision of creating a certain “uniform” for the group, which is what they tend to wear at most times, consisting on studded and embroiled black jackets with their emblem worn over a bikini style outfit matched to each girl.
The gang has endured beyond high school and to this day, even though the girls have less time to be together nowadays they’re still the best of friends and will always come to aid any of the other.
