was looking at my art books that a close friend of mine has sent me through the mail, pushing self to do such so i can do seomthing nice in return by improving my art exponentially

working on balloon hands, did the refernce images by eye

second page is how i want to do them in my style

Seems solid, Cartoony styles are significantly more forgiving. But you maintained the same number of fingers throughout. That one in the bottom right is a little funky I think because the wrist isn't as small and puffy as the others. Check out upper right for what I mean by that.

These toon hands look about right... but you forgot the birdy :P
An important key is learning how to translate real hand poses into cartoon ones, then supposedly that eventually helps with drawing realistic ones without referencing. I'm still working on that though since I have to evenly practice things on limited time.
