This character is called Ulama Pandai Besi that it roughly means Cleric Blacksmith (it's a compound name, no last name included).
The character is based on a Komodo Dragon and the armor is the same that the clerics from Dark Souls wears (with a tiny minors changes).

About his background: He's a blacksmith who use his cleric skills to infuse weapons with divine magic. Due to the beginning of the holy wars between the two greatest beliefs in Lupa Benua: The Followers of the Light (FOL) and The Messengers of the Ancestral Ones (MAO), He's forced to join the forces of the church from FOL to fight in the name of his God. As he's a Blacksmith, he's weapon of preference it's the hammer. Besides FOL and MAO, there are other two big beliefs on Lupa Benua, The Ingrained to the Roots of Origins (IRO) and the non-believers. The IRO group believes on deities who are directly related with the earth and the nature, so they look for the awakening of this godlikes creatures and eventually they succeed on finding them, only that they aren't exactly gods as they think, but only giant colossus with a really primitive way of thinking. These creatures had a monumental size, kilometers of height! so when they walk didn't notice the tiny beings living under their feets. The first god they awoke was a Stone Colossus, who was practicaly a mountain. Thanks to this event, the holy war between FOL and MAO is interrupted and the two groups are forced to face the new enemy who was tearing apart their continent. MAO tried to destroy the creature with a frontal attack that ended up in chaos and death under the feets of the clueless deity who, by accident, step on their forces. FOL decided to take a different strategy, so they assemble a group whose task was gather information about the creature to find a way to kill it. Ulama Pandai Besi was among them.

With this job he and his comrades earn the title of God Slayers with the pass of the years and the success they had.
