Ive just been playing around with that reworked character model of mine for a bit and this is the outcome. Really nothing too special, and i really didnt spend as much time on those than i could have, but it was fun to do. And youll get an A+ grade on life from me if you know all the movies those quotes are from!

I have to say that your facial rigging is nice but a bit more emotion in the eyes and muzzle would be nice. I know it is going to be a lot more work but getting the right amount of emotion along with the mouth movement is key to a great animation.

When you used the line "Dress in drag and do the hula." You could have given your character much more movement in the eyes and the shoulders to convey a more solid emotion.

When you used the scene from "the big lebowski" a more point brow to show anger and the shoulders would give your character, even more life.

The scene from SouthPark, a more open eye, and shoulders to show shock and amazement would greatly help out your character.

Again I'm not saying this is bad in any way, but your animation does need a little bit more emotion and that little bit of extra work can go a long way. I can't wait to see what you do next and I can't wait for your next animation.

Thanks a whole lot for the constructive citicism! I will keep it in mind, i sure do agree that i could have spend a whole lot more time on this. There a quite some more flaws in here, and really a lot of robotic movements, motionlessness and so forth. But i really wanted to move on to some other serious project and at first i didnt want to upload it anyway. Thanks again, and new animations are coming up, already working on it :)

I suppose I could do the furry drama things and say,. "That's for showing me how much I suck at this."
But that's sort of pointless. How about we go with "Well done."
Even if it needs a few tweaks here and there.

Yeah, you are right, dont do the furry drama thing. Its annoying and pointless. Go out and do some art instead! Thinking that your own art sucks and comparing one selfs to someone seemlingly better is something every artist has to deal with. Just get used to it. I reccomend the book "Art and fear - observations on the perils and rewards of artmaking" by David Bayles and Ted Orlando. Its a short, good and quite eye opening read!

You dont even wanna know the magnitude at wich i used to suck when i started out, and in a way still do. But in a way that is the essence of making art, or any skill really. Suck at it over and over again until you suck less and less over time. Talent is a lie and time + dedication = outcome.

A VERY talented pianist was asked why he still practices 4 hours a day at the age of 94.
"I'm beginning to see some improvement."

for a lip sync test this went rather well! the only program i found that made it easier was "Animation Master" if this was just a sync test you passed with flying colors i find in my own work there was always room for improvement but i also know  what i am looking as and have to say...Well done!
animation can be an obsessivly annoying compultion at times but usually worth it in the end. Bravo
