Background/History
Reggie was brought to Esperanza when he was very young, after losing his family to the Extinction. He was vaccinated and enroled in Esperanza's orphanage, where he received the best attentions.
Around 13 years old he realized that he wasn't comfortable being a girl and that he'd much rather be a boy. However, since Esperanza's laws don't allow gender reassignations until adulthood, he has to wear a well-placed pair of socks in his underpants in the meantime. Although not a perfect solution, this little trick helps him feel much more comfortable with his body.
