They amde it easier? ANd i didn't find it that hard on N64 to begin with, to be honest

The reason it's easier is due to how the iron boots work in the 3ds remake. Whereas it involved a lot of pausing, menu navigation, boots on, walk 10 feet, pause, menu, boots off, and thus making the trip very long, the 3ds version has secondary items on the touch screen, letting you slip boots on and take them off without pausing the action, thus letting your mind keep better track of where keys and doors are.

... usually.

Also glowing color lines telling you where the wall triforces are. On N64 you had to memorize their locations.

Is that what those were for? I thought they were just for decoration.

Anyone who complains about the Water Temple never had to suffer through the labyrinthine monstrosity that is the Great Bay Temple. At least the Water Temple had a cool Shadow Link miniboss.

The best version of it was actually the Master Quest version which had harder puzzles but was only about half as long.

Did you forget the hole behind the Hookshot's chest again?

Nope, I got that, but I always forget about the arrow/hookshot combo door on floor 2.

If that weren't bad enough, it's possible to mis-use a key and ruin your whole save file.

I still don't see what all the fuss is about. The water temple wasn't THAT hard.

Weird thing is I apparently didn't have any trouble with that temple.  It was only later that I found out it was notorious among gamers.  Really, the closest I came to doing this was when I went up to the boss door... only to realize I hadn't gotten the key for it yet.  Whoops!  Had to check the map and explore a little more to find it.  Was a little embarrassing.

I like all the comments that are like "whatever, psh, it's not that hard."

They're like people who claim they've never blown themselves up playing Bomberman. LIARS.

YES. They had to backtrack for that last key and they know it!

Any game that requires a key to advance ;w;
