i agree with you there, but considering the situation and how many people available it feels like this is a case of Twitch Plays gone wrong where there are too many heads clashing together and the wrong majority getting the idea or some ONE person is not catching it fast enough before things happen, a fair number of these traps could have been avoided with some careful thought but haste makes waste i guess

I don't recall any mention to our knowledge on the green trail. It was presented as a mysterious green trail. If we knew what it was and could recognize it, it would not have been a mysterious green trail it would have been presented as changeling blood. Seems more like bad DMing on that part. Then again I do a lot between each point so it very well could be that I missed a mention. Reading back, i do not see a single note to our knowledge as a character and yet the status log says we should have known what that fluid was. If the character is supposed to know what something is all along, the player needs to be informed at the time of discovery so knowledge of the reader matches the knowledge of the character in an instance like this. Decisions would have likely been vastly different on the whole.
