Inspired by the kid's top bed I was sleeping in in Germany (see below my report on the trip). First, I have to express my condolences and wishes to all those who have been affected by the attack on Nice.
Now, for the picture. The bottom is a crib can be slide forward independently (the slide and the ladder doesn't move if you do) so to tuck the little one more easily. The top can be slide down to cover the bottom and help putting the little one on the bunk top comfortably. As you can imagine, the top one isn't mean for babies but for a bit old kids. In the dream I had that led to this picture, Mommy was the (somewhat) older kid who got the top one.
Now for the report (with irl pictures of me) of the trip to germany. The trip forward was under quite some heat as it was a really hot summer day. The good news is I was traveling north so most of the time, the shade of my own car was covering me, lowering a bit the temperatures. Not many people on my side of the road, so it was nice driving (except it was long and that I may have been flashed by a speed camera. It was a tricky thing, speed dropped really fast for no reason according to the speed signs and I saw the flash just after the sign).
I enjoyed a lot of local cuisine and an amusing style of ice-cream, the Pinocchio ( http://s240.photobucket.com/user/Loupy/media/RL%20pics... can you guess why it is named as such ?). I also tried a baby sleeping bag for adults ( http://s240.photobucket.com/user/Loupy/media/RL%20pics... ) but sadly too small for me to sleep in it. The second to last day, we visited the fair (it was not running, but you get to see nice visuals). They had so much troubles taking a picture of me smiling they had to help me ( http://s240.photobucket.com/user/Loupy/media/RL%20pics... ). I had a silly baby dream the last two days (me as a baby girl during a beauty pageant, and forgetting my routine because of stage fright and wetting my diaper in front of everyone).
The drive home was more comfortable weather-like, but the traffic jams delayed me 45 minutes (it was over one hour but I was able to make up for it on the final highway stretch once everything cleared out). I leaked a bit *blushes* in my undies on the way home from all the troubles. Got yelled by my parents as soon as I got home, but at least, my mother will be back to normal on monday... here broken ankle sure was a pain for everyone. The really bad news is I lost my necklace http://s240.photobucket.com/user/Loupy/media/P8310031_... somewhere in Germany. *sigh* maybe it'll show up some day but it's unlikely.
