You can sell music and albums too. :3 Though I think albums are more likely to do better. What software do you use to make the tunes?

I used a mish-mash of stuff - a lot of digital simulations of vintage equipment.

Track layout and sequencing: FL Studio Pro.

Guitar:American Standard Series Fender Strat feeding thru a Line6 Guitarport, into computer. Recorded clean, with digital amp simulation added later:

Lead Guitar: Amplitube 2 "EJ Clean" amp sim, fed through "Speakerphone" impulse response based room reverb

Ryth Guitar:Amplitube2 "Vintage Crunch" amp sim fed through a spring reverb impulse response in Altiverb 5, and FL Studio room reverb on top.

Bass: Jazz Bass soundfont from Sonic Implants

Organ: Native Instruments B4 vst feeding thru FL room reverb and FL EQ

Drums:Kitbash drumkit made from various sampled RL drums:

kick: LUDWIG / Modern 01
snare: PEARL / modern 100 / 01 02 & 03
toms: LUDWIG / Standard
hats: ZIldian / hihat / 13"
cymbal - zildian 16" crash
cymbal 2 zildian rock crash 18"

Mixdown on on all instruments:
"Retrology" simulation of Motown studios mixing board
Stillwell 1973 simulated vintage EQ
Altiverb 5 using impulse response of Cello Studios' Echo Chamber #2

Vocals: Yours truly (and my evil twin) / Blue Snowball USB microphone.

Wow I haven't played with FL since like 8 years ago or something! I bet it's a pretty sweet bit of software now (it was very well done even back then!).

Yep. I started with version 4. They're up to version 9 now.

Although I get free updates for life, since I bought their PRO pack way back, I'm still only up to using 8. I've got too many VSTs plugged in here and there, to rewire everything when a new version comes out.
