A message to all you young college bound furs or those who recently entered college. NEVER, EVER EVER EVER, think that college is gonna be the best time of your life. It should ONLY be the best time of your life SO FAR! Any grownup who tells you that college (or worse, high school) was the best time of their life has made some very unwise choices.

Anyone who thinks college is the best time of their life never had to deal with a twenty thousand dollar lie, and I envy them for it.

I wouldn't envy them if I were you. $20,000 lie or not, people who thought college was the best time of their lives usually live in the past. Always thinking about how good things used to be, wishing they could go back and do it again, instead of moving forward and making choices to better their lives.
