So this idea came from the idea of what sort of other classes would fit a character. In this case, what would Cyrus be if he needed to be a healer/support class?

When one thinks of fire magic, they usually think of destructive pyromancers hurling balls of fire. While this is the most common application of the element, there are astute users who have found ways to bend fire to mend and aid allies, as while fire has its destructive elements, it also represents the warmth of life and rebirth.

Firemenders' ability to heal allies is quite powerful, but often comes with drawbacks - less experienced or distracted Firemnders can potentially harm allies in the process of healing them, and some of the most powerful heals will inflict a level of pain despite ultimately leaving the receiver in better health. Skilled Firemenders are even capable of resurrecting an ally from death.

While technically a healer class, Firemenders should not be seen as an easy target, as they can still turn their powerful flames on their enemies and deal considerable damage.

That said, they are not without weakness, wielding a weapon or wearing cumbersome armor would impede their ability to be fully effective with their magic, making them quite vulnerable to opponents who get in close.
