To improve my grasp of human anatomy, I'm doing one sketch from a photo reference every day.
Same rules as before:
It has to be done in less than 1 hour, I can only use the one brush (Though I can choose which brush before I start), and I can only use black. No undo, no erase.
I'm not concentrating so much on re-producing the whole picture this time around though, more just trying to get correct looking human body shapes.
The human faces haven't been coming out all that well, so in this one, I decided to go with an anthro Snowleopard face instead.
Gave her spots too, but didn't add a tail.
Fully clothed one today.
The proportions and stuff were going horrible right from the start on this one. Length of legs, size of hands, width of waist. I was thinking of giving up and starting again, but that's against my rules, so I just continued with it anyway, and tried to salvage it as much as I could.
In the end I'm fairly happy with how her head, shoulders and chest turned out, so it's not a complete wash-out.
At least it didn't take me too long. Only about 15 minutes.
