Okey, I don't get their world XP What kind of military would teach flight stuff at a civilian school? DOnt they teach their own enlisted soldiers at their air force? o.o (plus rather a bad idea to teach anyone how to use weapon systems and such for a subsonic fighter jet?)

In their society, as an undergraduate, a military and civilian aviation education are about the same. Airspace, systems, meteorology, navigation, and basic piloting skills are identical the first two years. After that, if you're military, you'll start learning more prescision flying, advanced aerobatics, and dogfighting and such. It's a 'military approved' education
When Adam graduates, he'll have an aviation science degree and all the basic flying skills he needs to start training in whatever fighter aircraft he's assigned. The military in their world is not in the business to 'teach flying', they want furs who already know how to fly.
