You watched me fall away from the lights in the sky

so that when I met the ground, I shattered away from what was once I

this body grew further cracked as I longed to return to the other lights

and picked apart others in fear and cruelty, the terrible fights

then you reminded me, and I wish I had only knew

for those that fall apart, the cracks let in the light for only you

I'm terrible and you have me when I've done so wrong
but you sing to me things I wished for..and you knew all along.
