The boots of Commissar Belle thud over the blasted street that only moments ago was saturated in enemy defenses. The campaign to take Taztlivina II from the occupying Diamond Dog hordes was going smoothly, the combined forces of the Equestrian 104th regiment, the Cadian 412th, and the Space Wolves chapter space marines plowing through the ramshackle defenses the dogs set up, the battles were long and bloody, scores of stallions and mares laying dead in ditches and holes, many buried under the rubble. The losses were higher than she had hoped, but in the coming time with more armor and artillery and air power losses will be slashed to the bare minimum. Victory was so close to them, "A glorious day is it not?" Rarity says to the giant mare next to her, Space Wolf wolf lord Applejack Grimnar, daughter of Anne Smith Grimnar, Chapter Master of the Space Wolves proper.

The marine looks down over the lithe mare, "Aye, sure is, commissar, the dogs'r headn south, mah boys'r chasin the stragglers down through the city"

"Good show," Rarity nods back, looking up at the ruins of the once prosperous city. Decades of war had ravaged it into a mangled tomb, "By the end of the day I say we will have the city under Principality control, and soon, I pray, that this city, nay, this entire world will flourish with life once more, the factories churning, schools teaching, and families laughing in their own yards! We will see to it that goodness comes like a wave, Celestia willing" she bows her head, "Gloriam ad Concordiam" she whispers.

"Now" Rarity says, stretching her neck a little, "Shall we head to my quarters, Jackie?"

So yeah, here's a little something on my own AU of a Warhammer 40K MLP thing that's been bouncing in my head for a long while now. Yes, Applejack is indeed a Space Wolf, mostly cause I like the wolves and that they are awesome. Rare here is our good natured commissar filling the men and women with determination! Also this AU is a LOT less grimdark compared to the source material~
