Build: Slender and nimble, flexible yet strong build; solid.
Pelt: Smooth and fluffy. They can be short of long haired. The colors range from tans and browns to dark blacks and browns. They can be white. Typical dog coat colors, nothing crazy. They can have any coat pattern than a dog would have as well.

First Impressions: Shy but if feel threatened they will growl.

Breeding:Male and Females mate for life and pups are born with the crystals.

Elements: They can only be of the types listed in the breed sheet. Hounds of the Shadow element usually are not owned by individuals. These dogs are feral and seen as extremely aggressive. However, a Shadow hound may be accompanied by a human companion, but the case if usually that the human companion is gifted in dark arts or magic. If two different elements mix the pair will give birth to puppies of both kinds or one kind. There is no possibility of a hound possessing more than one element. The elemental powers of these dogs depend on what the creator of the character wants their dog to possess.
