The head and teeth of the Blood Jacket from Killer Species: Out For Blood.
Biology (This is all from the book that i read through as we speak OK.)
Specially Altered Bat Name: Blood Jacket
Gene-Splicing and D.N.A. Sequencing Animals (Vampire Bat and Bald Faced Hornet)
D.N.A. Explanation: (Vampire Bat: A nocturnal hunter that requires drinking over 60% of its body weight in mammalian blood each night in order to survive) (Bald Faced Hornet: Among aggressive members of the Yellow Jacket Family, they could bite as well as sting and protect they're nests with utmost ferocity)
Size: They're Wingspan were less than a foot long.
Weight: Each one weighed only a few ounces.
Purpose: To create havoc.
Appearance: They had beady eyes and large fangs. They had six spiny legs. They're stinger were dull, but they were still tough to pierce skin more than once. There body coloring is like the Bald Faced Hornet, but the mouth and fur has the coloring of the Vampire Bat. They had spindly wings. They're wings are a mix with the Vampire Bat's wing and the Bald Faced Hornet's wing. It is the same form of the Vampire Bat's, but its colored as the same as The Bald Faced Hornet's.
Movement: They flap their wings and hopping about, they have impossible speed.
Behavior: Bats colonies and Hornets live alike in each member but with different duties. Bats share blood with they're colony members & Hornets are protective to they're nests. With both characteristic behavior of the Vampire Bat and the Bald Faced Hornet are combined, this would make the Blood Jackets themselves as a very belligerent, and invasive species.
Hunting Behavior: They would circle briefly in the air above they're prey with frightening speed.
Numbers: In the book Killer Species: Out For Blood, Dr. Catalyst had 4 containers filled with 1,000 of Blood Jackets, So there was exactly 4,000 hordes of Blood Jackets released into Florida.
They are nocturnal hunters.
Bite and Sting: They feel like small sharp pricks of pain, stabbing and burning causing intense pain. The Blood Jackets are venomous creatures with both a venomous bite and sting, The Blood Jackets themselves could have a chance to be rabid. When Bitten or Stung the venom will course through the victims veins and will weaken they're primary prey, humans. The victim will feel dizzy, a little nauseous, woozy, and disoriented when bitten or stung by the belligerent horde. The venom is the same property in the Bald Faced Hornet's sting and will cause the same symptoms to any intruders that are endangering they're nest.
Nest: They can nest anywhere. In the book Killer Species: Out For Blood, they nested in multiple locations of Florida. One colony nested in a steeple of a church, another colony nested in an old abandon warehouse, & another in Emmet Doyle & Calvin Geaux's Middle School. In Killer Species: Out for Blood, Dr. Catalyst disguised himself as a teacher in Tasker Middle School, when he saw Emmet Doyle he wanted revenge & released a container of Blood Jackets. It occurred when Emmet noticed Blood Jacket blood running down the walls beneath the vents by the freezer, unknown what it was he ignored it & thought it was nothing & thought it was where they "keep the lasagna,".
They will shriek louder when they're hunger grows.
The color of they're blood is Thin Streak of Grayish White Gunk.
