I did this to pay tribute to those who died in the Orlando shooting. It makes no statement...apart from declaring that we're not afraid and we won't hide.
I could say "my prayers are with the victims" but lines like that feel empty to me when I think about this. I want to say "fuck you, homophobes!" but that's not right either.
Instead I'll say that I think this proves, without a doubt, 100%, that hate solves nothing, and killing people who have done nothing to anyone else but live their lives how they want to live them is the greatest sin that humankind can fall to.
