To get me in the mood for when I saw Out of the Shadows last week (which I thought was great, MUCH better than the last film) I played the Out of the Shadows game from a couple years ago, watched the 2014 film, the original 4 films, and watched this awesome parody animation by James Farr known as Teenage Mutant Koopa Troopas - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTKXna2ekzE
I noticed in this special he didn't have anyone cast as Krang, and I suggested if he ever made one that Kirby would be the ideal character (what with Planet Robobot's recent release and all). He actually agreed with my suggestion, and that made me decide to make that idea a reality, but the question was who'd be the android body? I had gone through numerous character ideas, Krusha, Darunia, and even Geno, when another person in the comments suggested King Hippo from Punch-Out, which fits the role PERFECTLY.
If James Farr ever sees this (though I sincerely doubt he ever will) I hope it could give him at least an idea of what could be done for the character. Whatever version he does I'm perfectly fine with, if it even gets done (though judging from his response it might actually be a reality someday).
Yes, I know Kirby himself is likely not that appealing to the eyes with this redesign, I tried my best to make him look more like a brain than the puffball he normally is. If I failed in that regard, oh,well. But hey, he's supposed to be a talking brain, and they aren't known for winning any beauty contests, you know!
