This one is kind of breaking a personal rule I have. I try not to post a favorite song until I have something that I think is as good or better than it. I currently don't have a piece I've made that I enjoy more than this one. And that's okay. I shouldn't have to be at my best all the time, but being my best none of the time is pretty dumb, too. So, today I can compromise.
This song took a couple twists and turns towards becoming what it is. Probably the closest thing to a love song I've written in a while. My love songs are all sad. Because I keep it real.
When I remake this one, it will feature real instruments. Kind of waiting on my thumb for that.
