The bones were in a microwave in a trash dump, and one day the microwave door opened, and the bones fell into some toxic, possibly radioactive, waste. In the ensuing explosion, Cteno was born! She had a boyfriend, but after a while, he disappeared while she was at work at Anurae's Rainbow Tentacle Studios (She's the receptionist, ostensibly).
She's since evolved into something, different, but she's still the same adorable slimy nerd, loved by many. She likes hugs, sweet snacks, her girlfriend, and being able to buy new underwear. She is best sticky waifu.
