I had fun drawing her, I hope she doesn't look too curvy...I'm really bad at, like, basically anything that doesn't have a slight curve. Your ref seemed to be that she was literally 0 curve. I hope it's alright looking ;u;
Otherwise, she was really fun to draw! Random fluffy dress.
She came out looking quite cute. The way you applied the monochrome tones to match her pattern still is really neat. I like how wild her hair turned out the most. And I think the dress is rather charming. It's also something she wouldn't purchase for her wardrobe in a million years however. I envisioned her for this in a nude pose, and yet in a weird way her in a G-rated pic with this dress is way more explicit to me than if it were the NSFW piece.
I personally think she's absolutely beautiful here. But as a character she'd never, of her own volition anyway, wear something that'd expose down past her neck to the collarbone area, let alone all the way to having cleavage spilling out, probably not even as a nightgown (although, I'll admit at this moment that I hadn't thought of what she sleeps in before now, so maybe I'm wrong on that point). That's kinda why I considered a nude to be, in a way, the safer choice to emphasize the theme of the Iron Artist, since no matter how conservatively someone dresses, we've all got the get naked at some point or another, hehe. Also, I already had a pic of her in a dress, yet no nude shot so far.
P.S. This page accidentally got reloaded as I was first typing this comment, so apologies if my thoughts aren't as put together retyping it.

I'm glad you like it but you really should put stuff in black and white for me in your commission details. I'm not great at "reading between the lines" or whatever you might call it. ;;
Otherwise I'm just going to do what I feel like, really. Like, you may have vaguely hinted at it but it wasn't a "I want her nude" or "Don't do X do Y" sort of thing. Gotta be blunt with me or I'm gonna get something wrong, especially in something like this where there's no verification "process" anywhere and my time frame is very small in general.
She was fun to do, even though I kinda forgot her hair was floofy at the last second (I was using the ref on the right of the sheet and kinda forgot about the stuff on the left.) but I like to think I made it look alright. ;u;

Well, I did say "nude pose" in the very first line, but I guess it got muddled by typing too much more description out. I really did try to be succinct this time, but it seems I failed. It would have been more eye-catching if I'd included the NSFW acronym or something. I actually thought of doing that right after I posted the note, but figured it would be too neurotic of me add a comment to the chain to clarify that, since you can't edit notes. I'm so bad at this, every single time I try.

I guess I may have kinda missed over it but in general I do better with just like...black and white, "I want her X doing X" sorta things.
I guess I should just try to get people to go back to the form thing I used but since people seemed to be incompetent in using it or just said "fuck it" and then got annoyed when I'd ask em to use it I kinda just stopped. I mean, it's my fault here but I guess I got confused? I dunno.
(And don't be afraid to add to notes ??? If its going to help the artist it's kinda dumb to just say "nah i wont add it because it'd be annoying" that's how issues would come up. Like, real issues. xD )

I overthink things too much, so I'm commenting here yet again. Ya know, as much as I try to grumble, all it really does when something like this happens is force me to brainstorm ways to make an outfit canon.
Like, with the RisingDragon art used in the reference, I literally was watching him draw it and told him she always wears muted colors, but he refused to do it because brighter colors compliments her better. (The whole point of her character though is that she lacks the confidence and self respect to dress herself in a complimentary fashion for a large part of her story arc. Even if I and many others think she's a beautiful character, she doesn't.) So, I eventually figured out that she would present herself a bit more brightly at church, being from a strong catholic background, and ended up developing some great characterizations and scene ideas from that.
I've been continuously dwelling on this one ever since it was posted and will likely have a more varied extended plot line for her when the time comes that I ever get to writing up to it thanks to this pic. Thus goes the realm of inspiration.
Now that I've seen her in this outfit, I want to be able to "see" her in it someday, if that makes since.
