I decided to spend a few hours of this sweltering day redoing Thomas Painter's reference sheet, as the old one was, well, pretty old. This time, Thom is a bit shinier than before, and I've moved up the back of his shell so I can more comfortably fit a diaper on him. I've also tweaked the eyes a bit to make him resemble real painted turtles just a little more, although I'm not sure if that will be permanent.
Oh yeah, the pose is based on a stock photo I found in a Google Image Search, because I can't anatomy today and it never hurts to have models.
