The Taya'a are a nine foot insect like race from my Shadow Dancer story(which I should hopefully have done soon). They were once a war mongering race who brutally killed and ate each other and anyone who landed on their planet. Due to a catastrophic bio-chemical weapon being placed on their planet the Taya'a are now a religious based sect who wear head masks to protect the 'weak' from their frightening faces. The Silent Taya'a cross the universe to take the dead of others, bring them to their gods and, usually consume their flesh.

This one just happens to be um..a cute..ish version (god I hate bugs)
