Now taking advantage of this picture, I want to tell you my experience about raves. When I was younger, and I was on high school, one things that people of my age loved to do was going to dance to discoteques and going to raves. I tried but I hated those places, I couldn't listen anything, everyone were drinking beer, goofing around, and...well, that was not my enviroment. I always tried to avoid those invitations, and say NO. Anyway I was not someone very popular.
When I had the chance to attend my first furry con, I was not in love with the idea to participate on the nocturnal raves there. But first night at my first Anthrocon, walking with a friend on thursday night, suddenly we were on the big room where it was the rave, it was colorful, many furries and fursuits dancing, having a lot of fun, I was drawn like a magnet insite, and suddenly I was dancing and having a blast. It was completaly different as I remembered about those kind of places, because I was surrounded of people I like, that I consider part of my family, we were like a lot of kids having fun, not worrying about what others could say about us, just being ourselves.
At this last BLFC, half a month ago, I could saw the same with one of my friends, it was his first time dancing on one of those places, when we were done, when we were so tired of dancing, we went to the "headless zone" (that place where all the fursuiters could take off their heads, drink water, to rest) and he was in shock, so happy, and a shyly asking if he was not ridiculous (of course he wasn't, and if he was, nobody would care). So it is a fact. Search the people you are comfortable with, that's the big secret, and you'll have a lot of fun, enjoy moments as never.
