Was in Straubing zoo on my birthday, May, 24th, and visited the tiger cubs and their parents. Sad enough the weather wasn't too good, ruined the times a little, at least in the beginning of the day. Had to work with exposure times around 1/10 sec, meaning a lot of pics are just for the recycle bin, most are blurred, much more to be able to recover. As the weather got a bit better and the camera worked a little faster (still around 1/30 to 1/60 sec), some nice pictures occured to happen.

A big disadvantage of the internal enclosure of Straubing is, that the glass got some really big scritch marks and is quite dirty, again not the best for a photographer, when the Auto Focus catches up on all the fuzzy things on the window, instead of the tiger 4 inches behind. But in the next months the cubs are old enough to also learn the outer enclosure, when the weather is nice and I have some free time, I'll visit them again, and I promise then we'll get a lot more nice pictures.
