I'm not sure which would be scarier, since being a radioactive, acid-spewing creature and having your body controlled by an evil snake-like man are both terrible fates.

In my fan-fics I had composed a list of some 53 or so spells * but I do not put spells on my list that I haven't used in the tales, so whether there is a spell that would forcibly evict a possessing invader from a host victim, I do not know, nor would I try to write such in, if my muse was not up to revealing the story. So whether the host would be left injured or deformed by the eviction chant I also do not know (Robert Bloch wrote a tale where a man, possessed by Nyarlathotep, was left in a pig-like form, upon the god's departure.)

Fortunantly I still had my pencil notes, but they will have to be worked on.This is not the first time I lost the hard drive and this was preceded by warning malfunctions. THIS stand-in laptop is half-bummed, working only in "safe mode" and, even then, giving me a fight with many websites. An eviction spell to expel a possessor would be ill-advised if a person was possessed by - HIMSELF ! (Bruce Banner by the Hulk, for examp.). It may seem to work at first, but the two would have to be rejoined, as neither is complete and both would soon die.)

As far as I know, there is no way to exorcise Orochimaru once he's taken over a body. The mind/spirit of the body's original owner seems to get erased once Orochimaru successfully takes it. Orochimaru also only switches bodies when the one he's currently using is badly injured and cannot be healed.

The Caligostro Institute is combining sorcery with - SCIENCE. I've only gotten the tip of the iceberg on what they've accomplished -like time travel. I almost said machines, but the method they use is a funnel of energy combining quantum and relativistic forces and principles. Even that (spatio-tempero-infundibulum) is a shabby description of what the time "machine" looks like.Dr. Ormolu is working on these.

I am also reminded of a superhero in the app. defunct webstrip ZODIAC, in DevArt. An otter who had been genetically modified to endow him with aquatic super-powers - Aquarius. Each of the superheroes was codenamed after a constellation in that belt of stars. Aquarius was told that an aquatic lifeform's DNA was coded into his. What he did NOT know was that the DNA was actually alien,extraterrestrial ! During the battle in the nightclub (with 12 supervillains who were NOT named after any constellations and were war come to life !), Aquarius began to change and morph into a monster ! Long neck, fangs,etc., and one of the heroines, maybe a sidekick, was working to calm him down, before it was too late. The strip went into hiatus. At a cliffhanger. After 18 MONTHS with no update, I carried out a threat, warning and promise, to DITCH the strip and cut all the panels of it from my favorites. I haven't looked at it since. The frustration was too great to put up with anymore, too great to aggravate any further. A lot of promising developments and then - the strip just stops !
