Many of the younger folk listening probably have no idea what John meant by a "son of Tricky Dick", though because we're old enough to have lived through that time, we have an idea. :) He was, of course, referring to the fact he was being harassed by the Feds, because he was very vocal in his protests. "Tricky Dick", of course, was President Nixon.
This was from about the time of the peak of Lennon's anger at just about everything.
I would've preferred a mix of "Instant Karma!", and dedicate it to a few...jerks...we all know and love. :)

I would've mixed "Karma!" first, believe me, but I haven't seen an acapella surface yet. I have vocals for every track off the "Imagine" album finally. :)
