The Chipmunks and Chipettes were about to head out to the airport with Dave & Miss Miller, on a gig - when thugs broke in. They tore the Chipettes to pieces, they killed Dave & Miss Miller. Naturally the boys were permanently traumatized, and would never sing again. The nameless thugs later returned, and Theodore got chopped up, and Simon was also killed. Alvin, the sole survivor, was later adopted by another family, but waits in fear...will the thugs attack his new family now. There was one arrest but nothing about the motives for the awful violence ...
