For the most part I choose based on final evolution. At the current moment I'm thinking of Litten myself. I like that it's a little fire cat and it's colors.
I like all of them, though, so it's tough to really pick. Once I see the final types and looks I'll be more solid on my decision. Last time I was gonna go Fennekin then they showed Delphox and I was like.......nooooo....Not my first pick anymore. :P
