do some art, with her canvas set to default magnification, which was approx.16%, so I decided to try it for myself. I sorta dipped when I drew Ivon (the I is long as in tangerine). Roughing sketches can be so.... liberating! Sure I need to know my proportions, and anatomy and such, which require precision, but rough sketches are both the framework, AND warm up for the next stage, which I am trying to move onto. The trap I kept falling into was I kept worrying over my sketches, trying to make them almost as perfect, or spot on as the finished product, and that KILLED my creative process. It didn't help that I continually compare myself to someone whose rough sketch process is much more streamlined-I started drawing (seriously) watching said someone stream collaboratively with other someones. Also taking into consideration that rough sketching, as a process, can take as many forms as there are artists. I guess I'm still learning what best works for me; and hands. Oh my god, why did I let myself forget how to do those!? D,:
Anyways, Hope you all spend a wonderful day with your moms. :3
