So I attempted to make a colored animation for my Icon today. It was somewhat successful since it could animate, but it came out pixelated. I used PTSai to make the pics, then gave each pic a frame through GIMP, AND finally exported them as a gif through there.

Anyone got any advice for me on how I can make a non-skewed animation? Any programs that'd be better for gif animations or the latter?

I would SUPER appreciate any helpful advice. : )

I think your problem is that you made the GIF first, THEN tried to change its size. GIFs don't do that well at all. I would suggest making a copy of the master project, changing the dimensions to the size (both pixels and KB limit) that you want, THEN save it as a GIF.

It seems my gif was too lengthy. I followed your instructions and it came out well. Thank you very much for your advice Nori. Next, I will venture into animating sequences. : ) May take a while though.
