Argrent's fangs barely showed when he quizzically grinned, "Where are you taking me?"
RicoShae's smile was like warm sunlight when she winked back at him, "A secret place. You'll see." And with that, the doe kept leading the fox, paw in paw, until the forest spread open before them.
The sound of water laughing and leaves playing greeted the couple under a brilliant canopy of green, orange, and yellows. At the doe's hooves was a glittering pool, swirling and drifting, bringing cool air and fresh scents from around the forest. A perfect path of large, bulbous stepping stones were napping under blankets of soft moss and bright leaves, leading them onto the other side.
As the couple stepped from stone to stone, RicoShae stopped in the middle, the breeze teasing the scarf around her neck. That single second hung in the air for an eternity as her radiant eyes gazed into his.
"I want you to wait here... and watch me."
And with that, she began to slowly peel off her clothing, piece by piece, bestowing them onto the adoring fox's paws until she was there in only her fur....
Watercoloring is an amazing learning process, and this was my second attempt. You could literally paint a watercolor every day and never got about it the same way twice.
