I always prefer Knuckles with the dark skin he had in Sonic Adventure 2. I also imagined his pants a different color, probably gray or black with a gray waistband to match the undershirt from the other versions that I also imagine as black, or purple with gray waistband to match his eyes. But I don't know, haha.
