Hmmm.... I'm actually not sure who to root for... I guess "pot-belly" sonic, since he was the original, and all his games are awesome. While the "slim" sonic has had a pretty bad track record (not saying he didn't have any good games).

I'd have to go with modern sonic, at least as far as the sonic adventure games they had the right mix of classic play and modern design (though I have not tried any new sonics mainly due to the feeling that if I don't play sonic on a SEGA system I'm betraying him)
