Man, that fur at the end of their tails is just a jumbled mess.

Yeah, its was when I started learning yeti for fur, that was roughly 30 min of work, I really liked to result.

I just got thinking, can you make the fur thicker? As in each individual hair? That could make it so you don't have to render as much fur, since it would thicken out in smaller quantities.

I could make the fur as thick as the size of the character, this is not the point, I don't care about how much fur I put on the character, or the time the image take to render, I just care about the quality of the final image :)

Well it's an idea if you ever want to animate with fur. I figured it might just make it look a little cartoony.

I have another question. Can the fur be made to taper off? Ass in the tips of the fur end in points, cause it kinda seems like they end in flat cylinders in this image. Reason I'm asking is because if you were to make the fur a little thicker, those flat ends would be a lot more noticeable.

These render was made 6 month ago, my very last render include lot of taper, length and width difference, color noise, stray strand, and I'm trying to improve them everytime I release a new picture!

I'm actually in the process of creating a tiny animated loop, will release it next week.

Righty then.

I wasn't sure if you would know what taper meant, since English doesn't appear to be your first language.

well, its not, but i'm certainly better in english that in my own language ;)

Wow, really?

As a writer, I'd be very annoyed if I didn't have at least one language that I was good at through and through.

I'm not really a talker anyway, i'm a programmer, knowing English is more important for me, and I'm more about learning technical word.
