Addis and Teagan are members of a nomadic tribe of fenra that reside in the blistering Argus desert. Close proximity to the aggressive volcanic fenra has made the desert fenra distrustful of outsiders. The harsh environment coupled with frequent attacks by the volcanic fenra has tempered Addis and Teagan's tribe and the other desert tribes into small military units. Each tribe has a leader, and that leader's orders are followed immediately and without question.
Addis is second only in authority to Teagan in her tribe. She is his right hand, ensures that his orders are followed to the letter. Like a desert flower, she is beautiful, but she has survived in the harsh conditions she was born into for a reason. Addis, like her partner, is very much a no-nonsense fenra when situation calls for it. She keeps the tribe under constant scrutiny and is always aware of the current situation, which she relays to Teagan. Addis can be a bit bossy and will not tolerate insubordination from her tribe. When crossed, she deals out swift and terrible punishment to those who dare to arouse her ire. Though she can be harsh when the situation calls for it, Addis cares for her fellow fenra very deeply. She is hard on them because she knows the dangers of the Argus desert, and she wants her tribe to survive. Addis is capable of being of being motherly and caring toward the members of her tribe, but that particular facet of her personality usually only shows itself in rare times of peace and rest.
Teagan is the leader of his tribe of desert fenra. Though he is smaller than most other fenra, his height only made up for by his horns, he is both strong and intelligent. He may be mocked and ridiculed by outsiders due to his small size, but those in his tribe know that he is worth his weight. Always serious and calculating, Teagan leadership has kept his tribe safe and ensured their survival in the Argus desert. Teagan gives his orders to his partner, Addis, allowing her to act in his stead concerning most matters. One of the reasons for his tribe's success is the near constant vigil he keeps over it. He is one of the few desert fenra remaining that has retained any magic, which he can utilize to create sandstorms, allowing his tribe to vanish into the desert's sands and escape attacks from the volcanics.
