On the banks of a river made of honey, a small village was built. the inhabitants of the village built their homes so they could collect the honey. they learned that the honey was coming from a massive honey bee hive and that there was so much the bees let the excess flow out of the hive in several massive rivers. despite being honey, it's still thin enough for the villagers to row their boats through it.
So i really didn't have a short story at first and even then that wasn't accurate to what i was initially thinking. at first it was just going to be ordinary water since that little guy there is in fact a frog, but then i thought it would be fun to make it honey considering this idea is somewhat lifted from Spyro Year of the dragon.
Let me Explain, in the third installment of spyro there is a level that is influenced by china with the panda girls everywhere. well that level inspired the design of the houses. another level inspired the honey river since there is a speedway in that game that takes place in a level that has bee hives everywhere and a honey river, it looked to be molten honey considering it bubbled and steamed when flying close enough. so yeah that's what inspired this drawing. enjoy! ^w^
