Diary Log: May/14/2020 Dear Diary, today's was a very hard day. I lost my home, my mom and dad, and I had to escape some really bad people who did really bad things to me. Since then, I haven't been able to trust anyone. It's been two weeks since I've been able to find food and water. I'm in the city neighboring my old town, and I've had to make do with rummaging through the garbage. I found something to eat the other day but soon threw it up as it didn't agree with me. I was cold, starving, and almost about to pass out when some soldiers wearing camo picked me up. They shared their rations with me and kept me safe. We were camping out in an abandoned home and they told me they were on a mission, searching for the rebels that bombed a lot of places. I'm surprised and saddened that my home wasn't the only place attacked, and if I could do anything to stop them from hurting anyone else, I would. |
