For months i've been trying to decide on a partner for Purus, he's getting older now and needs a partner! at first i was driven mad with deciding on gender, if Purus is an extension of myself then what would i be comfortable with? this question lead to no answer however as i'm not really into guys or girls, i spent an entire month on this and decided to shelve it.

Upon sketching character designs i found a few looked similar to Purus, i drew Purus in next to them to see how they looked and many of them looked cute together, i then drew about 20 pages worth of designs, constantly tweaking them until i came to the conclusion that a small, cute rodent would work well with him.

I drew a mouse, a guinea pig, another bat but nothing truly felt right... then i drew this little gem and instantly fell in love, the design works perfectly with Purus... but in my excitement i forgot about gender, i ended up drawing them ambiguous, it could be male or female... and so far i still haven't decided on that.

I also need a name! any suggestions?
