A quick warm up sketch before I work on some other art, partially because a couple people wanted to see more of this rat girl, who is still unnamed and not exactly an established character.

So, the poor girl is hungry, and after paying all her bills and expenses with 'free government money', she realizes she didn't have enough to go for a grocery shopping trip. And the only thing she has for a meal is a can of pineapple chunks she got from a friendly and charitable old lady along with other unwanted and almost expired canned foods donated by churchgoers cleaning out their cabinets. But she's already finished up the pie filling and chicken broth, and doesn't want to push her luck and ask for any more, so she's gonna stretch it out until her next welfare check.

I'm kind of a horrible person to fictional people, aren't I? ^^;
