Before I made the garden rabbit bookmarks (which are still available for purchase), I actually made this one first. The size is way too small when it's actually printed, so it's a bit of a flop, but I still kinda like the picture all the same. I tried using those fancy gradient maps in CSP on the sunset version. It's very vibrant.
Nikki sure is going to have a wet back by the time he's done laying there.
It's a pity this didn't work for the bookmarks, but it is quite a lovely little picture. I particularly like the warm, late-summer afternoon feeling of the sunset version, and the shimmer of the water in the other version. He looks pretty comfortable, too, though his expression seems a tad apprehensive. Come to think of it, I can't seem to remember having seen any picture of him smiling or looking completely at ease. He's still absolutely adorable, though.
