HEY! LET'S NAME THIS IN THE SAME VEIN AS THE LAST DRAWING I UPLOADED! Eh, why not, these characters are part of the same series.

So, this is Steel! She's a phoenix! But she wasn't always, and that's awesome! I'm planing to have her be a main character in a big TF animation project I'm working on, though her part keeps sliding back, and that annoys me. I co-opted her from another project I was writing, and I'm a fan.

She also totally changed the way I was going to draw phoenixes. I WAS gonna go more the peacock route, but when it came time to translate Steel to her bird self, that was never, ever gonna work. Heh, so I ended up going the more hawk route, though she's still really lean and stuff. Which works. ANYWAY, I'm pretty happy with how she's coming out!
