Darwin base one was built and designed to be used to study alien life on other planets, it can be easily dismantled and reconfigured into various shapes and sizes to fit the need of the mission, and sense it is often visited by tour groups and school field trips they have made special sections for guests such as a cafeteria and gift shop, they even have rent able hab suits to allow one to explore outside the base and interact with the animals that visit the base.
