For the longest time I strayed away from, and didn't really like the whole concept of genderbending? But that's due to the fact, at the time, I was first exposed to it in a form where people would use it to embarrass, or put their characters in a distraught.. Which created a negative atmosphere? And when a character's un-easy, I get un-easy and...Bleh.. D:
And this was when I was like twelve, thirteen? So at the time I was oblivious to that usually it's done with more positive/neutral intent! o:

Now over four years later, I finally gave it go and really like the concept! c: ♥

Getting Laffy's design to come off less feminine was a liiiittle tricky. Those pig-tails don't help that, haha. And there was no way I was gonna cut em' short! No matter the gender, they're her trademark! <3
But I think having them hang back lower behind her (or I should say him) works! c:
Also switched up her colors, more salmony pink than yellow 'u'

As for Yakko (Or Yakky) she was pretty simple! Give her a little fringe, pull her ears back, viola! I hope I managed a more feminine look..Might give her a headband or somethin'..~:heart:
I gave her a orangey collar 'cause khaki didn't look right? Buuuut she will gave khaki shorts! Or skirt...Haven't decided yet hehe~
