This is now in my political sociology notes. In the class, my professor was discussing, in length, how neo-classical thought explains people are lazy, and that people will choose welfare, where they can sit around collecting $320 a week, staying at home, watching TV, and having many babies to qualify for more government assistance, as opposed to getting a job at WalMart or McDonald's. This of course COMPLETELY ignores many facts about the conditions of the lower and impoverished class in our country, and how big corporations work, but... Whatever.
Just enjoy a poor, pregnant rat watching TV.
