It's the end of the world, ruins and mutants everywhere, but people still need to make a living. Koop is ordinarily a traveling supply runner, however he does have a few shacks that he managed to build so he could sell his wares for Caps. One day 3 of his friends were moving thru the ruins that one of his booths was in. Levi Nicky, Queen Kami and Casper asked if Koop would like to go with them on an adventure thru the wasteland. Koop agreed however Kami wanted to buy some of the stuff he was selling despite the fact he was coming with them.

Some post-apocalypse tales involve sorcery (wizards, demons, spells, etc.)

I stress to anybody who's reading that the Casper I have written fan-stuff about, is NOT this Casper. Casper is a ghost and has powers of invisibility, phasing through solid objects, shape-changing, flight, .... but he eschews magic, leaving that up to Wendy. Strength is not his forte, either, but he leaves that up to Nospher & Huey (the latter is almost an idiot,tho.). HotStuff uses powers like flight, fire,light, teleportation, penance beam, ...
