I was visiting Barbados for my cousin's wedding last weekend and during the trip my computer finally blew on me so I had to order a new one. Again I apologize for not posting a journal about it here. Anyway this pic is based somewhat on my experience on the day before my flight where we went snorkeling with sea turtles. That was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I wanted to draw this before I resumed my comics (Which I'm horribly behind in all of them. And I apologize for that).
Also as I said before, I was waiting for my new laptop and to be honest I received it last Wednesday, the thing is the laptop came installed with Windows 8 and had so many bugs that made it difficult to install a lot of the programs I needed. I was finally able to get around them this Friday. Spent the entire week getting it done. A little funny note, it took longer to get this done because as I was doing the coloring I noticed the colors were all wrong and the the lineart was off as well. It wasn't long after, that I realized that I had the colors set to CMYK instead of RGB which is what I'm used to.
Anyway, don't think that I haven't been twiddling my thumbs waiting for this new laptop. I've been busy putting some final touches and new character designs in my sketchbook. Which I might or might not post anytime soon. Well it's late here, and I'm about ready to hit the bed.
