I'm a Zelda fan so I had to join this. Anyway meet Ryu the Aeralfos.

Starting Item/Weapon: Foldable Boomerrang - Can be folded to fit in the holder on his waist and used as a blunt weapon for close combat when folded.
Personality: Unlike most others of his race Ryu is a very easy-going fella. Usually going at things at his own pace. He's hard to anger but when he's angered he turns to his more barbaric instincts Aeralfos are known for.
Because of the reputation of the Aeralfos, Ryu has a hard time introducing himself to others before they end up either running away or attacking him. Because he has so much trouble making friends, Ryu cherishes the friends he does have and is always willing to lend a hand.
Though Ryu doesn't look it he is quite an adept fighter. Though one would have to be when out gathering materials for potions. Ryu uses his trusted Boomerang for both range and close combat. But is also good at fighting unarmed. Even though Ryu is an adept fighter, he always tries to reason with his attacker even while he's being attacked. In fact, Ryu doesn't really attack he mostly dodges the attackers attacks until they tire themselves out. The only times he would take a fight seriously is when someone is in danger, he's fighting a wild animal, the attacker is someone that shouldn't be underestimated, or he's resorted to his Barbaric instincts.
Ryu's biggest flaw would not only be his zero sense of direction but not even realizing it himself. If you were to give him directions to a village just over the hill. He would find himself lost in the middle of a dessert. But somehow by the end of the day he would always find himself in Northfall.
Bio: Ryu grew up in a mountainous region with other Aeralfos like himself. But Ryu was considered an outcast amongst his race. Due to the fact, that he wasn't as blood thirsty as the others were. Not only that but Ryu was a lot smarter than most of the Aeralfos. This is believed to be from his mother side, an accomplished potions maker amongst his kind. Ryu respected his mother and felt that she was the only one who understood him seeing as she was kinder than anyone Ryu had ever met in his life. His father though rough around the edges could always be tamed by his mother.
Ryu learned many things about potion making from his mother and fighting from his father. As Ryu grew he became more and more fascinated with potions and wanted to become an accomplished Potions Maker like his mother. When Ryu was of the age to pick his first weapon, Ryu's father presented him with the Foldable Boomerang he still uses today. Not only because Ryu was a natural at using the boomerang but because it was the least lethal weapon to choose from.
Ryu loved his family, but could no longer take company of his tribe any longer. After discussing his disicion with his parents, Ryu left to find a place he would feel welcomed. Which was not easy for two reasons. The first being since Ryu is an Aeralfos most civilians would run away or attack before Ryu could utter a word. And the second being is that Ryu would always get himself lost.
Just as Ryu was about to lose hope at finding a home for himself, he came upon the city of Northfall. Where even being an Aeralfos the people of the city were somewhat welcoming to him. Which was a much better greeting compared to other cities he's visited. So without a second thought Ryu decided live in Northfall. Where he hopes to make a name for himself as an accomplished Potion Maker.
Dislikes: - Skulltulas - Bullies - Anyone hurting his friends
Other Information: - No matter how lost Ryu gets, by the end of the day he always finds himself back in Northfall. - Ryu usually travels outside the city looking for Potion ingrediants for the freshness of the materials and that he has little money to spend. - Ryu doesn't own a shop but will sell or make any potion he is able to make for the right price. - Ryu likes to try new things when making potions and learns a lot from the results. (Who he usually gets from having someone else test his new potions.) - Though Ryu isn't exactly bad he can sometimes appear rude by saying blunt things.
