Character Sheet for Netan Temoc
Character Description
He's an old drunk with a sob story but he's got more about him than he lets on. A glutton for punishment he often says things he shouldn't and then gets what he deserves. However he's a good thief and can be pretty smart at fooling people. It takes very little to upset him and he's often very negative. He has a literal bag of tricks as well as multipurpose bombs and a magic staff he can use at his disposal. Get him sober enough and you may get to see how well he can use them.
Personality
Nate used to be a cutthroat sky pirate but when he met Mari he went soft and tried to settle down. After losing her to the box golems he became very depressed and now drowns himself in drink. Anything you can say to him he'll always find a negative response for. He doesn't want to do anything other than drink, eat, sleep, repeat. It also doesn't take much to reduce him to tears as he can turn the slightest thing into a memory of her. The only time he shows other emotions is when he's very drunk and it's normally anger. If you do cheer him up he can be cheeky and sly and he's not one to be trusted with anything valuable. He's generally more energetic but the drink slows him down. He's not too clever intellectually but he can be pretty good at fooling people to his benefit. When he's confident he picks fights but otherwise he just ignores them or lets himself get beaten up. He's not shy to say how he feels about people and maybe she should be. He's also often rather loud and annoying.
Likes/Dislikes
likes to forget, point out people's faults, steal things and do very little, dislikes people who are off their guard, people who brag, being thrown out of bars and getting a raw deal.
Background/History
Nate lived in Palm Island where he grew up as a sailor. However he got with the wrong crowd and sailed the skies as a pirate. When he landed in Grenwuld however he fell in love with Mari and married her. They were very happy but during a short stay in Diegoltun to meet some old friends Mari was captured by the box golems. Since then Nate has never left the town and he still pines for her even though it has been years since she was last seen. He's a broken man and no amount of drink can drown his sorrows.
Relatives/Family
Netan has a wife called Mari. Netan didn't even mean to stay in Diegoltun since his family were far away but after losing Mari in the woods he found he couldn't leave.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
His eyes are brown, his skin is flesh-tone and he has brown fur all over except his mussel, cheeks, ears, paws and tail tip.

Nate can use bombs in battle, carries a staff and has a coin pouch on his hip that can hold a lot of even very large items
